How Borne made Macron give in on the immigration law

STORY – The Prime Minister announced a new postponement of the text on immigration, despite the voluntarism displayed by the Elysée.
It is past 10 a.m., this Wednesday, April 26, when Élisabeth Borne and Emmanuel Macron sit opposite each other at the Council of Ministers table. Everyone then discovers the content of there “roadmap » that the Prime Minister is preparing to detail to the press. For 72 hours, the document was the subject of multiple round trips between Matignon and the Élysée.
For the members of the executive gathered in rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, the head of government therefore reserves the first of her announcements.
