I would love to play against him. » His wish was granted. A few hours later, Elias Lipp was at the heart of rumors sending him to Vitality.

Rumor confirmed this Thursday by the French structure, which announced its transfer. Elias “Upset” Lipp, considered by many to be the best European AD carry, leaves Fnatic two seasons after his arrival. He will find the regional elite of LoLhe who waxed the bench of the British structure during the winter segment.

Arrived at the start of 2021 at Fnatic, Upset achieved convincing performances with his duo at the time, Zdravets Iliev “Hylissang” Galabov, who also left at the end of last season. Present twice in the LEC team of the year (summer 2018 and summer 2022), he was not however selected by his team at the start of the season. Replaced by Rekkles, back in his old club, he was confined to the bench. The Bees came to find him, despite his reputation as a difficult player to manage.

A welcome reinforcement for the hive

After a very good start to the season, Vitality exploded mid-flight. Many saw them tickle the best teams in the Championship. However, the Bees were eliminated very quickly in this winter segment. Fifth just ahead of Astralis, the French club did not finish in the desired position.

Often judged as the weak point of the team, the botlane Vitality gets a makeover, in a meta where the strategy is geared around the bot lane. Vitality has therefore, like the previous yeara “super team” and should, on paper, fight with G2 for the European title.
