Driveco stands out in electric charging
DECRYPTION – The group announces a fundraising of 250 million euros. It plans to deploy 60,000 charging points by 2030.
This is probably hardly noticeable for the French who continue to have difficulty loading their electric vehicles. But the take-off of charging infrastructure is accelerating rapidly in France.
Although it is eighteen months behind the initial schedule, France has just exceeded the symbolic target of 100,000 charging stations. Above all, investments continue at a breakneck pace. This Wednesday, the start-up Driveco announces a fundraising of 250 million euros. A sum raised from the Dutch pension fund, APG.
A big blow for Ion Leahu-Aluas, general manager of Driveco. This Romanian-born entrepreneur, expatriated to the United States after the 1989 coup and returned to France in 2006, first worked in aeronautics.
