AS Monaco sinks to Red Star Belgrade and concedes its heaviest defeat in Euroleague

Monaco will not have to return this season to Belgrade, except to come across one of the two clubs from the Serbian capital in the quarter-finals of the Euroleague. Good news for the Roca Team, slapped for the second time in seven days in the Balkans. Overwhelmed in defense and without ideas in attack – with the exception of Mike James (26 points, 8 out of 13 shooting) – Monaco concedes the heaviest defeat in its young Euroleague history. Two days after dominating Olympiakos (63-60), she could lose her place as co-leader in the Euroleague.
