After the Worlds, the quest for crystal continues for Chloé Trespeuch

After the World Championships in Georgia, the French snowboardcross team is heading back to the World Cup circuit in Spain for the final stretch of the season and some great things to look for.

Overall leader and looking for her very first crystal globe this season, Chloé Trespeuch dreamed of a second individual podium at Bakuriani. But the 28-year-old Frenchwoman comes out a little frustrated, settling for 5th place in the individual race and a team bronze medal with Merlin Surget.

This weekend in the World Cup, the Olympic vice-champion will try to keep her place as world number one, while there are five rounds of the World Cup left before the end of the season. The French team will have two rounds in Sierra Nevada (Saturday and Sunday) before Veysonnaz, in Switzerland (two races as well), and Mont Sainte-Anne, in Canada.

Loan Bozzolo 2e of the general

Among the men, Loan Bozzolo, the most consistent Frenchman this season, is currently in second place overall, Merlin Surget in fifth place. Manon Petit Lenoir, at the foot of the podium at the World Championships, is she 4th. The France team also intends to defend the globe by team, already won last year.
