After the meteoric success of ChatGPT, websites claim their share

The success of OpenAI is likely to cost it more and more. Already grappling with the problem of its growing IT bill ($700,000 a day), the artificial intelligence laboratory behind the ChatGPT phenomenon is now facing very interested claims from certain websites. They blame society valued over $29 billion to have sucked up their content to train its algorithms, without any financial compensation.

So the Reddit discussion forum platform will soon charge for access to its data in the event of intensive use such as the process by OpenAI. To make their conversational software capable of providing a constructed answer to any question, the fathers of ChatGPT have by their own admission worked largely with conversations from Reddit. Google did the same for its rival service, Bard.
